Dry Ice Pellets

3MM · DRY ICE BLASTING FORMAT

BULK DRY ICE PELLETS FOR BLASTING AND SURFACE CLEANING

If you’re running a dry ice blasting machine, 3mm pellets are what you’re feeding it. The small particle size gives you controlled, non-abrasive impact across delicate surfaces, and they sublimate on contact so there’s no water damage, no chemical residue, and no secondary waste left behind to clean up after the job.

We’re blasters ourselves, so we know what fresh, dense, consistent pellets do for performance in the hopper. Aged pellets meter unevenly, sublimate during fill, and waste product on the job. Ours come off the line in Colborne, Ontario and ship to your shop or job site within 12 hours of being made.

As the official Canadian distributor of ASCO dry ice blasting equipment, we supply pellets that work with all major blasting machines, and we sell, rent, and service the machines themselves. If you need both the consumable and the kit, you can get them from one supplier.

Who We Supply

BUILT FOR INDUSTRIAL CLEANING OPERATIONS ACROSS ONTARIO

3mm pellets are the format for any operation running a dry ice blasting machine to clean, restore, or maintain surfaces. Here are the six sectors we supply most often.

BLASTING CONTRACTORS

Full-time blasting service contractors operating across Ontario. We run scheduled standing deliveries to keep your shop stocked, with rush options when a time-critical job lands on short notice. Partner-level support, not just product drop-offs.

MANUFACTURING

Equipment maintenance, production line cleaning, mould and tool restoration, and ongoing facility cleaning across automotive, electronics, plastics, and aerospace plants. Reliable supply is the difference between maintenance on schedule and a line waiting on consumables.

AUTOMOTIVE & RESTORATION

Engine bay cleaning, classic car restoration, body shop work, and surface prep. Dry ice blasting is non-abrasive and non-conductive, so it cleans without damaging electrical components, wiring, or trim — which is why restoration shops switched from media blasting in the first place.

FOOD-GRADE PRODUCTION LINES

Cleaning food processing and packaging equipment without water, chemicals, or solvents. The pellets sublimate completely, leaving no secondary waste or contamination. That matters for regulated food-safe environments where every cleaning step has to defend itself in an audit.

WELDERS, MACHINE SHOPS & INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE

Removing weld slag, oxidation, paint, and machining residue from tools, fixtures, and equipment. Faster turnaround than chemical or manual cleaning, no surface damage, no media to dispose of.

ENERGY, MINING & POWER GENERATION

Cleaning generators, motors, switchgear, and heavy industrial equipment. Non-conductive properties make dry ice blasting safe for electrical equipment that can’t be water-cleaned in the first place.

What Makes Our Pellets Different

FROM BLASTERS, FOR BLASTERS

Here’s what blasting contractors and maintenance teams tell us matters when they switch their pellet supply over to us.

01

MADE FRESH, NEVER AGED

We target 12 hours or less from manufacture to your shop. Fresh pellets meter consistently through the hopper and deliver predictable blasting impact. Aged pellets sublimate during transit and warehouse storage, which means uneven feed at the nozzle and wasted product on the job.

02

HONEST WEIGHTS, EVERY DELIVERY

We overfill at packing to account for sublimation in transit. The weight you ordered is the weight that arrives at your shop or job site, not the weight that was packed minus a day of shipping losses.

03

PARTNER-LEVEL SUPPORT

We’re blasters ourselves. As the official Canadian distributor of ASCO equipment, we supply pellets that work with all major machines, plus rentals, sales, training, on-site technician support, and live demos. One supplier, the whole operation.

04

PRICE MATCH PROMISE

We’ll match or beat any competitor’s price on equivalent bulk pellet supply, guaranteed. Validated proof required on request.

PELLET FAQS

COMMON QUESTIONS ABOUT BULK DRY ICE PELLETS AND BLASTING

Questions we get from blasting contractors, manufacturing maintenance teams, automotive shops, and industrial cleaning operators. Don’t see yours? Call us — we’d rather have the conversation than guess.

Our pellets are 3mm cylindrical, which is the industry-standard size for dry ice blasting. They’re compatible with all major blasting machines, including the full ASCO line we distribute (NANOJET, ASCOJET 1208, 1701, 1708, Combi Pro 2008) and equipment from other manufacturers. If you’re not sure what your machine needs, we can confirm at the quote stage.

Yes. We’re the official Canadian distributor of ASCO dry ice blasting equipment and pelletizers. We offer brand-new equipment sales, pre-owned equipment, full rental packages (machine, accessories, training, compressor if you need one), and service and repair on all major brands — not just ASCO. Live demos at our Colborne, Ontario facility are available by appointment, which is useful if you’re evaluating whether dry ice blasting fits your operation before committing to equipment.

Dry ice blasting works on a wide range of surfaces, from delicate to industrial. We supply pellets to operators cleaning manufacturing equipment, food production lines, automotive engine bays and restoration projects, electrical components and switchgear, moulds and tooling, weld slag and oxidation, and general industrial equipment. The pellets sublimate on contact, which means no water damage, no chemical residue, and no secondary waste to dispose of. That makes dry ice blasting one of the few options for sensitive surfaces and regulated environments where water or solvent cleaning isn’t allowed.

That depends on your blasting machine, nozzle size and pressure, the surface you’re cleaning, and the total job duration. Consumption varies widely across setups, so rather than guess, contact us with your equipment details and job scope. We’ll help you size the order before you place it, so you’re not over-ordering and watching product sublimate in storage, or under-ordering and running out halfway through a job.

Yes. Industry education and support for new customers is part of how we work. Rentals include on-site technician support for first-day setup. Equipment sales include training. Live demos at our Colborne facility let you watch the equipment run on a real surface before you commit. If you’re new to dry ice blasting, we’d rather walk you through it properly than have you struggle through the learning curve alone.

Yes. We offer emergency and rush delivery options for time-critical blasting work. Because we produce in-house in Colborne and run our own delivery trucks throughout Ontario and into Quebec, we can usually respond to last-minute requests faster than redistributors that depend on third-party freight or out-of-province supply.

Pellets are for blasting. The 3mm size is engineered to deliver controlled, non-abrasive impact and sublimate on contact at the nozzle. Nuggets are larger (16mm) and designed for cooling and cold-chain shipping, where slow, sustained sublimation matters. If you’re running a blasting machine, you want pellets. If you’re shipping or cooling product, you want nuggets. See our full format comparison on the main Production page.
